Summer Sale Edit

Over the last week I’ve been eyeing up lots of pieces in the summer sales and treated myself to a couple of bits that i’ve had on my wish list for a while. I love to browse the sales especially from the likes of Net, Matches, MyTeresa etc as its the perfect time to snap up some of those investment pieces you’ve had your eye on but at a much more palatable price! As well as fashion, there are also some amazing Home sales on at the moment, with our kitchen being fitted as we speak and our new wooden…

Dress like Marianne in Normal People

After watching the beautiful BBC adaptation of Normal People I felt utterly compelled to write a blog post about it. Instead of writing about the story itself, which, don’t get me wrong, I have done a hundred times via Watsapp, Instagram DMs and to my patient husband.. Stay Home Edit

Whilst the past few weeks and next few months are going to be incredibly hard in so many ways, I’ve been trying my best to push back negative thoughts and focus on the positives of this new way of living we find ourselves in. Whilst its tricky to change our lifestyle from fast paced and busy to staying at home, slowing right down and potentially feeling like we aren’t “achieving” much, we need to remember that the act of staying home is likely to be one of the most important things we will ever achieve because by doing so we…

We Need To Talk About Smears

Aphrodite Necklace: Daisy Jewellery designed exclusively with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust. I’ve ummed and aahed about whether to write this post. Opening up about personal experiences can be tricky at the best of times but adding intimate health into that mix can make you even more nervous and apprehensive to put it down in writing. Saying that, if my experience has taught me anything its that connecting with people through shared circumstances is extremely comforting and cathartic and the more we shy away from having these personal conversations, the more alienating it can feel when something does come along to knock us…
