Autumn Style with Monsoon

Autumn is by far my favourite season, not only does the landscape change to the most surreal orange and browns set against beautifully crisp days but the fashion, in my opinion, also flourishes. I'm so excited to have teamed up with Monsoon to explore some of their AW pieces and to share their new S.E.W capsule collection which is created using sustainable fabric alternatives, including responsibly sourced organic cotton and LENZING™ ECOVERO™, a planet-friendly alternative to viscose.

Firstly, I want to talk you through their beautiful knitwear collection. The photos don't do justice to how soft and comfortable they are, the turquoise cardigan in particular is such a beautiful shade and has gorgeous blouson sleeves detail. I love the neutral tone of the ivory cowl neck jumper as well, it's the perfect piece for layering under a blazer or jacket or worn casually with jeans and boots. Both knits are made using recycled yarn as Monsoon are committed to seeking and sourcing sustainable alternatives in an effort to create a more eco-friendly world.

The military style, wool-blend coat is also part of Monsoon's sustainable range and is a smart, tailored addition to your autumn wardrobe. The a-line cut is really flattering with a double-breasted, fitted style at the shoulders and chest that widens out from the hips to the hem. I also really like the stand-up collar and brass button details, a cute nod to the military style whilst remaining minimal and chic. I'm wearing a UK size 10 and it fits me really well, roomy enough for a jumper underneath but with a close, flattering fit.

It's always nice to add a couple of pieces to your autumn wardrobe that can work both in the daytime and dressed-up for dinner or a date night. Monsoon have got plenty of looks that can do just that, I adore the denim midi dress as a daytime look with ankle boots and a tailored coat and have surprised myself with just how much I like the green leather-look dress, the quality is incredibly and I love the added puff sleeve detail. It can be worn with a couple of open buttons and a white, grey or black polo neck underneath, or in the evening with tights and heels.

I hope you like how i've styled their collection, click here for the full range and here for their S.E.W collection and to read more about their sustainability commitments.
