I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of black tailored trousers for so long and this season Cos have delivered the goods. These are cut for a relaxed fit with pleated front and a full leg, there is also an inner adjustable elastic tab at the back of the wasit band so you can pull them a bit tigher to wear higher on the waist, or looser for a slouchier look. This style is mostly sold out at the moment but sizes do pop back in stock all the time so would recommend checking back here if you want to try them, but i've also rounded up lots of similar styles below and some ideas of what to wear with tailored trousers.
